The hydraulic power unit is intended for a railway sector application, supporting equipment used in the operational phases of construction, laying or maintenance of railway track. The unit supplies the hydraulic power required to feed the handling and clamping/locking functions of the machine or equipment.
CMH built a hydraulic power unit configured according to the customer’s application requirements, integrating supply, regulation, control and circuit-safety components. The unit is designed to feed the machine’s main hydraulic services, managing the lifting and clamp circuits through directional valves, pressure relief valves, flow dividers, pilot-operated check valves and custom-designed valve blocks. The air/oil heat exchanger contributes to the thermal management of the system, while the filtration and level/temperature monitoring system supports the orderly operation of the power unit.
The customer needed a dedicated hydraulic solution to feed specific operating functions of the machine, with particular reference to the lifting movements and the clamps. The application requires a custom-configured power unit, suited to working in a technical and operational context tied to railway track, where the work phases must be carried out with control, reliability and continuity.
